I have been reading about magnetic collars and that they can help with pain, just wondering if anyone has tried one, this will be additional to the normal anti-inflammatory es, supplements etc as an extra.

I have one on my 8 year old Lab.  I don’t know if it helps but it doesn’t do any harm.

My old boy Sumo, who lived until he was 13, had terrible off & on leg problems when he was young. Eventually the day came where he wouldn’t put his paw down. After 2 or 3 days of this,  I introduced a quality Magnetic collar in the evening. A few minutes later he curled up in a ball on the carpet & went to sleep. (unusual for Sumo as he likes his creature comforts & prefers the bed). I left him there when I went to bed & had to wake him in the morning. He was walking properly. We never looked back & even a few weeks before he died, (Stomach turned) he could still manage 5 miles over rough ground without adverse effects in the evening. So I guess for me seeing is believing. My current Dalmatian, Lady wears one (as do I) & she is 15 next month. Don’t get your hopes up too high as it maybe a, “Horses for courses” thing. Also, You have  to keep the magnet close to the jugular which means constantly twisting it around & it has to be close to the skin so very difficult with a long haired dog.
